Originally from Lucknow, Prashant is a Computer Science graduate. He is working in the mobile phone world. After getting tired of Europe trips, for which people have to pay Cox & Kings, he left Samsung and joined Motorola. He got married on 23rd Jan this year to Shaili and is slowly settling down at Bangalore.

We call him "Shukla Ji" and likes him of his incredible potential of being a good listener. With his emotional acumen and witty comments he is always at ease in winning people.

He along with Adi were the main elements of spark and spontaneous humour in the group. His ability to sync with the various emotional wavelengths of people around earned him friends from diverse groups. But he is the laziest of all and it was difficult to convince him for any adventurous trip or action that the group planned. Over the years, he too has changed from his don't-care attitude to somewhat procedural approach to the things and life in general.

He is our "English Man" with very strong vocabulary and a passion for precise usage of the language. We credit him for inculcating the passion for English in us. Along with Pal, he started the fire for Ghazals in the group. His pastime is listening songs/ghazals and reading apart from devouring the daily newspaper. During last few years, he has started reading a lot of non-fiction, mainly the works of Shobha De and other Indian writers. On and off, he writes personal memoirs and travelogues as well.
